This model has a calm and elegant appearance, with hidden slide rails, and is known as “light and shadow flow, ink realm”. The front of the car uses 3D spray painting technology to highlight the “dragon beard” texture, which the manufacturer calls “exquisite dragon face”, which is magnificent and majestic. The rear of the car adopts the “Chinese knot” taillight design common to the Dynasty series, which has a three-dimensional effect when lit.
In terms of size, BYD Xia has a body length of 5145mm, a width of 1970mm, a height of 1805mm, and a wheelbase of 3045mm. The upward waistline, large-size wheels, and continuous taillight design, the rear sliding door uses a hidden track, the rear is equipped with a new light strip, and is equipped with a glowing “BYD” logo. The auxiliary driving camera embedded in the front windshield uses a new dual-lens module, which is expected to support advanced assisted driving functions.
At present, the official has not yet announced the details of the interior and configuration, but it is speculated that the starting price will be below 300,000 yuan, otherwise it may impact BYD and Mercedes-Benz’s joint brand Denza. At present, the sales of Denza D9 are leading in the Chinese MPV market, and the sales gap with the second-ranked large MPV Toyota Sienna is not much. If the prices of the new BYD Sharp and Denza D9 overlap, it may greatly disrupt the market of its own Denza D9, especially the models with the advantages of the fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, which are likely to become the first choice for this group.
